So wenigstens liest es sich auf der Website des ehemaligen Arbeitgebers des Herrn Snowden, Booz Allen Hamilton:

Most organizations are unprepared for the deluge of data and are unable to turn big data into big insights that drive intelligent business decisions. For the last 20 years, systems have been built in stovepipes, which actively prevent the insights to occur.

 

Es sind also nicht mehr staatliche Stellen, egal wo und egal welche, die über uns auf Schritt und tritt wachen, sondern private Firmen.

Irgendwie erinnert mich das an all die mal besseren, mal schlechteren US-Thriller, die ich in den letzten Jahre gesehen habe.
