WikiLeaks as the fall guy?

I have a funny feeling about this entire WikiLeaks fiasco, maybe it is just me but something sounds very strange with the entire situation, almost like the situation is being used to the advantage of those in the Government who would be happy to disclose less information than they already are.

This could set precedence for even less transparency in a Government that has already vastly abused it's power of non disclosure. One must wonder if the charges of sexual abuse in Sweden are real or if this is Sweden serving up one of it's citizens as a favor to the red white and blue, and if so, why? What is being promised?

Some may call me paranoid but I would be very surprised if no new laws or statutes are introduced as a reaction to this situation.
